Saw the following on Anna’s blog. Thanks to my friend and the Internet, saved me from waiting for hours in the clinic in order to see a doctor. Too bad though, there is no cure right now, which means still have to suffer for don’t know how long…
cgoobitmitis ['kä-bit-'mī-təs]
(noun)
: is a condition that affects people’s ability to wake up in the morning. It is commonly known as can’t-get-out-of-bed-in-the-morning-itis. It is a very common disease, affecting majority of human population.
The disease causes both neurological and physical symptoms. The symptoms include not hearing alarm clock in the morning, turning off alarm clock unconsciously, and hallucinating and telling yourself that you are fired and no longer need to wake up in the morning.
Currently, there is no known cure for cgoobitmitis, although some documented cases have shown that ugliness can cure cgoobitmitis. However, this treatment has not been approved by FDA.
Daily Thoughts
Sunday afternoon, after grocery shopping, I was sitting at home eating an organic banana.
I started buying organic bananas a few weeks ago, after eating one given by my colleague, who buys only organic food. I didn’t really believe in organic stuff before, partially because I couldn’t afford it. But I was so surprised that the organic banana did taste very different from the regular ones. It tastes like the bananas I ate 15 years ago – naturally sweet and fresh.
As I was enjoying the naturally sweet and fresh organic banana, I started to feel a little pathetic for us, the modern human beings. We have to pay almost double or triple the price for something naturally coming out from our mother earth. Isn’t the natural stuff supposed to be the regular things we should be eating every day, instead of the so called “regular” food grown with lots of chemicals we don’t know? How smart we are to create so many ways to make things grow faster so that we can make more money? And at the end of the day, we have to pay even more to cure the problems our greediness causes.
I probably will pay double the price again next week for the “irregular” – the naturally sweet and fresh organic banana.
