It’s An Imagination…
July 4th, 2009
It’s an imagination,
that I talk to.
It’s an imagination,
that I think of.
It’s an imagination,
that I worry about.
It’s an imagination,
that I miss.
It’s an imagination,
that I dream of.
It’s an imgination,
that I’m feeling.
It’s an imagination,
that makes me laugh.
It’s an imagination,
that makes me cry.
It’s an imagination,
that hugs me.
It’s an imagination,
that hurts me.
Silly, I know.
It’s only,
an imagination.
really like what you’re talking about … imagination …
i’m sure all will come true one day, to you ^_^
Thanks Joanna. But too much imagination sometimes could be dangerous. I should stop imaging…
u r really very “duck”, haha. it like a beautiful song, sing,sing,sing~haha
Blue, what does “duck” mean ah?
@xiaowei
it could be sometimes good, wish you all the best ~~
dear, actually girls like imaging, don’t we?
@Joanna
yes, unfortunately, we do like imaging, hopefully not all the time, hehe…
But sometimes, imagination is based in reality, so, that’s another story…
This makes me think of Buddhism and that everyone is trying to escape one problem or another by drinking or other recreational drugs, when in actuality and reality one can and must free themselves of all the aliments that our society manages to come up with. One can do this being a sober being. Free oneself beyond all worries and concerns and be happy in the moment. Feeling is good because we one needs to know how to feel in order to know what one does not want to feel. I feel like life is a big chain, like the food chain, each componant/faucet of life is nessesary for the other to exist, function, and make sense.
@Mishel
I was a bit surprised that this little piece made you think of Buddhism, b/c my inspiration was actually not that philosophical. But what you said is very right.
“Free oneself beyond all worries and concerns and be happy in the moment.” – It’s a bit easier said than done, but I need to do it, and I still need to learn how to do it.
“Feeling is good because we one needs to know how to feel in order to know what one does not want to feel.” – That’s why I like writing down my feelings, especially this one.
I still need to learn how to sometimes too.
I was just feeling philosophical mood upon reading this, so I interpretted it in such a way that was very broad in scope. I have been thinking about playing and reality, imagination and truth.
I think that Buddhism and its principles can be very helpful in learning how to be in the moment. It has good guidelines and ideas.
And also I liked your poem.
